Adam Jurs is the President/CEO of Jurs Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. a family-owned insurance company representing the largest captive carrier in the United States. He has hired, trained, developed, and mentored over 1,000 sales representatives throughout his telemarketing, retail, b2b advertising, and software career prior to owning his own insurance company.
Adam was born and raised in Indiana. He started working at the age of 12 detasseling corn, followed by working in a restaurant and building in-ground swimming pools. It was then Adam realized he needed to break his family’s norm and head to college. After graduation, he spent nearly 20 years with a very successful career of owning & managing businesses and coaching leaders within corporations.
Adam started his sales career at the age of 14, selling candy bars door to door to purchase team basketball shoes. He attended Indiana State University and received a tuition scholarship and was a resident assistant to cover his room and board. He also worked at the Universities’ Annual Fund, where he learned telemarketing and set records during his tenure for the most funds donated.
